1. PARTICIPATION
    1. All Member Clubs in active membership of the league must play in the competitions, which shall be conducted by the League Management Committee. Entry fees for the competitions are inclusive in the League fees.
    2. The below competitions will be run in accordance with the FAs Standard Code of Rules
      • The Terry Lee Memorial Challenge Cup Competition, which is for all Member Clubs.
      • The Subsidiary Cup Competition, which is for all Member Clubs who are eliminated from The Terry Lee Memorial Challenge Cup Competition in the first and second rounds.
      • The Bob Sturrock Memorial Cup Competition, which is for Premier Division Member Clubs.
      • The Pauline Gainford Memorial Challenge Cup Competition, which is for First Division Member Clubs.
      • The Spring Cup, is for all clubs who wish to enter.
    3. All League Cup Competitions shall be played on a knockout basis except for the Spring Cup. The Member Clubs shall be drawn in pairs for each round, the first drawn being the home club in all rounds up to and including the semi finals. All matches up to and including the semi finals shall kick off at 10.30am.
    4. The Spring Cup Competition shall be played as follows;
      • Clubs shall be drawn in four (4) Groups.
      • Group teams will play each other home or away.
      • Group winners will play each other in a knockout competition until a winning club is reached.
    5. The winner will hold the trophy for one (1) season only.
    6. Any Member Club found guilty of playing an ineligible player or players in any cup match shall be fined twenty-five (25) pounds for each player and be disqualified from the competition with the opponent going into the next round.
    7. Any Member Club found guilty of changing or giving false information on the Result Sheet shall be fined twenty-five (25) pounds for each player and be disqualified from the competition with the opponent going into the next round.
    8. In the event of any Member Club being held responsible by the League Management Committee, for any match having to be abandoned for their having fewer than seven (7) players on the field of play the Member Club will be fined twenty-five (25) pounds. Such action is subject to any disciplinary action taken by the NFA. The defaulting Member Club will be disqualified from the competition with the opponent going into the next round.
    9. Any Member Club failing to fulfil a fixture shall be fined twenty-five (25) pounds and disqualified from the competition with the opponent going into the next round.
    10. Any Member Clubs failing to fulfil a fixture owing to the conduct of one or both Member Clubs players or their club members will be fined twenty-five (25) pounds. Such action is subject to any disciplinary action taken by the NFA. The defaulting Member Club will be disqualified from the competition with the opponent going into the next round.
    11. Where the colours of the two competing Member Clubs are similar, the home club must change.
    12. In semi-final rounds both Member Clubs must enter the Players Names  on the Result Sheets then the home Member Club will hand them to the referee ten (10) minutes before the start of the match. After the match the referee will complete his part of the Result Sheets and the home Member Club will collect the sheets from the referee, complete and forward to the Result Secretary. Referees must report with the GLS Member Clubs in default who shall be fined twenty-five (25) pounds.
